...for a self employed single person (hetero) with good taste. I like to live within five miles of a quality grocery store like Whole Foods, decent shopping and within 15 minutes of the airport. Family communities are ok. Quality of life is most important. Thanks in advance for your help.

Green Valley/Henderson...all nice neighborhoods there's a Whole Foods there, and a Trader Joe's too. You can take the street to the airport from some places or just a couple of freeway exits within 15 mins easy. Many locals believe it's the best part of the Vegas valley to live in.

I agree with some of the others, go for Green Valley. I live in the Seven Hills area as well and LOVE it. There's a Whole Foods and Trader Joe's within miles of my house and a lot of new amazing restaurants and little shops. Check out the District at Green Valley Ranch.

West of the Strip, out on Tropicana, and beyond the Orleans Hotel is a lovely, gated, very large residential area - just can't recall its name, but check it out!
