I actually live in Las Vegas and the Strip is very um.... cheesy. This place is very polluted and has crappy schools and the people drive way over the speed limit. For instance, I was on the freeway where the speed limit is 65 MPH everyone was going like 80-110!!!! I really don't like this place!!!

I only visit Las Vegas, I happen to like the strip. The architecture is stunning. It's supposed to be cheesy. I can't comment on the schools, but there are good schools and bad schools everywhere. I find if the parents are involved, the schools are generally good.

Speed limits are broken everywhere. Here the highway speed is 75, when I drive it I get passed.

I can imagine if I lived there, I would probably avoid the strip unless I absolutely needed to go.

How can you hate Las Vegas, man? What speed are you talking about? Ever been to Phoenix? Seems like some of us drive Indy cars down here.

I love Vegas. Matter of fact, in two days I'll be on the beautiful Strip having a great time.

I HATE IT, I HATE IT, I HATE IT........I am moving next year to the back country. I hate Las Vegas because you will never be bored here. Not only is it affordable, very luxurious but full of activities. You don't have to gamble or have a lot of money to have a great time.

I won't say I HATE the place, but I've never had a motive for going there because if you are not into gambling, booze, and cheesy stage shows... then there is nothing there to do that you can't do somewhere else that is more interesting.

p.s. The speeding problem is definitely not Las Vegas-specific.

I don't hate Las Vegas, because I am living here. If I hated it, or my family hated it we would of been long gone.

If you hate Vegas so much, why are even here?

I've lived here for 14 years, and yes, there are negative aspects, but on the other hand, there are a lot of great things here. Keep in mind that every city has its good, bad, and ugly side.

I don't like Las Vegas because there's nothing there. I like the strip because everything is there and it's pedestrian friendly.

I hate living here! I feel trapped, in a hole! The Casinos get old fast. To go anywhere outside of Vegas, you have to drive for hours. It is too hot, lots of dust, neighbors not that friendly, roads full of rocks (I've had 2 broken windshields to date), people are angry (lots of road rage), too much smoke in casinos caused by old people ready to croak! I just don't like it and can't wait to get the hell out!
