I would like to apply for the position of Security Officer at LAX airport. I have experience in the field just not at an airport. I would like to know how much they get paid over there first before I apply. Does anyone know how much is the pay?

If you want to work at the LAX airport as a security anything and make a decent wage, become an LA Airport Police Officer. You'll be a real police officer with full police powers. I almost went airport police, but I'm a little too old and out of shape to be a police officer anymore. I know four LAX Airport police officers and they all love it and they are all very good at their jobs. Check out their web site.

Lax has of differnet secuirty offiers
we have TSA (which check customers ticket, scanners
etc (which is run by tsa)
then we also have Airport Police (which opperated
by Los Angeles world airports (part of the city of Los Angelesl)
then we have secuirty officers who check/remove bags claim
tags.. (to make sure you arent walking off with someelses bag)
