We live in California and my husbands job is relocating to Charlotte NC. We know nothing about the area! Can anyone tell me what its like there. What are some good areas. Mooresville, Stanley, Cornelius, Matthews, Midland, Kanapolis, Gastonia. those are just some of the places that I have seen on the map and used realtor.com to see what the homes were like. BUT although they may look nice - what is the area like? Also someone had mentioned that it is expensive there??? I dont understand that - coming from California it looks rather cheap to live there. I've heard from a few ppl that Flint is pretty bad. I've also heard from some that it all depends on where you live at in Flint. The reality is, is that there is good and bad in all cities. But I'd like your opinions.
