Orlando and Kissimme is not far apart. Infact, the airport connects to Vineland Rd, which connects to West Bronson or 192, which is Kissimme. The airport and Kissimme (West Bronson has a lot on it-Medivial Times dinner show, Old Town, shoppes, and it is 2 miles from disney) are not far apart. Yes, there is cabs-lots and they are not too overpriced. There also is a great easy bus transportation system. Simple.

It's not far in terms of distance, but you have to deal with traffic and the Florida turnpike, so a relatively short drive can turn into a trip that takes 45 minutes to an hour depending. And yes, they have taxis and busses there, but neither of them are cheap. You may want to consider a limousine service. My wife and I went in with my parents on town car service from Prestige Town Car when we stayed at Disney World, and it was the best decision we made. It cost us $90.00 round trip, but the guy was waiting for us at the airport and took us directly to our resort, then he was right on time to pick us up and take us back to the airport again. When we used the Mears Motor Coaches busses we actually paid more ($30.00 per person times four), we had to wait for over an hour to get a bus, and the bus dropped off every one at every other resort before getting to ours. I highly recommend checking out Prestige. Just Google "Prestige Town Car Orlando Airport."

Yes there are taxis and buses to various resorts, but depending on how many people are going you might consider having a town car pick you up. We found that with more than 3 people it was the cheapest way.

Maybe a 30 minute drive. If you try to take a bus you will have to get on and off of numerous ones to make it to Kissimmee. Just get a taxi. When you walk outside by baggage claim, there will be lots of them lines up.
Have fun!

Actually, if you're on a budget, Universal Studio's and Sea World are right on International Drive/ in the area which has a ton of budget hotels and budget friendly restaurants! The end of March has OK weather in my opinion - warm during the day and nice at night but it can get a little bit chilly. If your not there for too long, you could consider staying on Universal property where you get your Express Passes for free (allowing you to bypass all of the lines). Hope this helps

Its just down the road actually. Maybe about 20 miles. A taxi could get you there easily. It might cost you about $50 to take a taxi to get there if traffic is bad. It could be cheaper for you if you don't go when its rush hour.
I mapquested it below for you. Good luck.

It is about 25 mins in a cab and costs around $20/$25. I don't think there is a direct bus there so would recommend getting a cab!
If you are going on holiday there - you will love it. I have been 3 times :)
