On an upcoming trip I have an extra day can either stay in Tuscon. Which would you recommend and what are some of the things of interest for that day.

Thanks

Tucson is a great place to spend a day - There is Sabino Canyon to walk/hike - drive up to Mt Lemmon to see the snow - head down about 1 1/2 hours to the old mining town of Bisbee -
The San Xavier reservation/church is beautiful - visit Tubac for the arts and the Desert Museum to see all the natural wildlife found locally here.

Phoenix is much better....we have sporting events, culture, museums, great restaurants, great hiking/biking trails, great shopping....etc.....as to what you should do with your day it depends on what date you go.....if you are here in March you can catch one of the many spring training baseball games and relax in the sun and great weather
