I worked there a few times (I used to be a carpenter, and I set up a couple of shows there) and I've gone there a few times as a fan. As a kid I went to the circus there, and more recently I attended a couple of WWF Wrestling events there in the early 2000's and I went to a Harlem Globetrotters show there once.

Yes. I've been to Madison Square Garden sometime in the late 90s when I was 3, 4, or 5 years old to see a circus. It was either Barnum and Baileys or the Big Top circus.

Yeah but only once. I saw Tori Amos there in 1998. It was too big and I felt like I was a million miles away from the stage. It's probably the largest venue I've ever been to, not counting outdoor 'festival' type stuff. I really wouldn't bother going again unless I had some sort of front row deal.

i saw billy joel there feb 2006.... and phish in dec 1998. msg is huge but a great place to see a concert.
