I am going to the Christmas market in Strasbourg in December and was wondering if anyone has any tips or advice for getting the best out of it?
I've been to Strasbourg before but never to the market.

All too often people with medical tragedies cannot afford their medical bills. We sometimes see public appeals for money which have been organized for these people.
Of course, not everyone in that situation is able to have such a fundraising event organized for them, so the financial consequences for them are even more serious.
Do you think the frequency with which Americans find themselves in that situation is an indication that our health care system is seriously flawed?

I was reading up on these beautiful Islands - they are placed roughly between Northern Scotland, Iceland and Norway, (and they are actually about about 200 miles north of Scotland.) Anyway, I read on wikipedia that they have cool summers (understandable), but mild winters!!!

I found this very odd as I would have thought that the winters would be freezing and they would have had loads of snow. How come they don't? is it anything to do with Faroe being a group of small islands and everywhere on them being only a couple of miles from the sea or something? it just seems odd that they should have 'mild' winters when Scotland and the North of England have very harsh ones?

He's been sailing a couple of times but I've never been sailing before. I've had a look on the web and there are companies that do tuition then sailing vacations but I was hoping that there may be some people out there with experience of these to advise me of a good company to sail with and where would be best to sail - I've been seeing Greece, Croatia and Turkey quite a lot...... i am a girl from Beijing China with a poor english level which too many mistakes on solecism word etc........but i am strugglling to improve for it and i am glad to teach you chinese so that you would talk with a chinese taxi driver or a hotel owner more easier when you come to Beijing in 2008!

I'm from Cleveland and I can't decide whether or not I should spend the ridiculous amount of money to go back to school out of state or get an apartment close to downtown and go to CSU. If I'm going to stay in Ohio, it will be in Cleveland so I can be close to my family... so I don't want to transfer anywhere else. I really loved SC, but it is expensive and I am paying for college on my own. I hate that money is a factor in deciding where I want to go to school, but it just is... I feel like I might regret it if I don't go back to SC, but then might regret what I pay in school loans if I do go back... what would you do?

I went to NH to see leaves on 10/4, but I did not see the change of leaves very much. Now if it is good enough for the US and other nations to take on Terrorists on foreign soil and lets not be mistaken here the PKK are terrorists as precribed by the EU, The US, Australia and other nations, and if there in fact is a true adherence to the concept of the Rule of Law at International Law and each Nation State has the Right of Self Defence should Turkey and her allies / "coalition of the willing" go into Northern Iraq and clear the area of ALL TERRORISTS ? Would it not be the US's interests to stop the IED bombers etc ??
