Hi! hmmm.. William is the surname = thunder = 雷 (Lei) in Chinese? I would pick some words from the link which the first answerer provided and suggest a few names for your consideration.

翠珊 Cui Shan - Emerald green Coral
紫雯 Zi Wen - Purple cloud (beautiful cloud)
惠琳 Hui Lin - Kindness beautiful jade
宝芝 Bao Zhi - Treasure / Precious Fragrant (noble)

or..

翠琳 Cui Lin - Emerald green Jade
紫珊 Zi Shan - Purple coral (shaped Jade)

雷紫珊 sounds beautiful... !

You can ask the school to give you a Chinese translation or a name closely associated with her English name. This way you can trim down your choices to a significant few and your job is easier.

If she is enrol into schools in China, than simplified chinese is used, so you should give her simplified chinese name rather than traditional one. If she is enrol into schools in Hong Kong, than chinese name is not needed as It's not a requirement to have one in Hong Kong. If she needs one, than I will suggest Yu Ting 玉婷 or 鈺婷 , which means beautiful as a jade.
