animals. Fortunately, there are rarely any entries there, but why dignify the cruel sport by giving it a category? (And I don't think there should be an exception in countries that permit the cruel sport - that would be like allowing racism, etc. in countries that allow it.)

I guess Yahoo likes to suit all kinds. I don't like it either, so if you have a complaint voice it to them.

I don't like it either and remember being shocked in Spain after I saw bull fighting on TV and it made me cry many years ago.
But I have learned to understand that it is a cultural issue and most persons in the countries that still perform it accept it and even say the bulls have a dignified death as they struggle for survival, contrary to the bulls that end up in a slaughter house without the chance to survive.
I also don't like it and never watch it but I don't think anyone will abolish it for a long, long time.
Sometimes the matadors get killed too... so they risk their own life for the morb of spectators.

Its someones culture. It doesn't fit our own, but it's tied to the history of a lot of people. It's fading away anyhow....

I agree with you that bullfighting is inhumane, and I am ready for the day when it is outlawed over the entire planet.
