whats the difference between a hostel and a hotel?

2007-07-22 16:14:17 · 4 answers · asked by ace 3 in Netherlands

I have looked everywhere for a website or ANY information other than the bare basics about this hotel. I'm interested in architecture, floorplan, clientele... ANYTHING!

I've looked for books on the subject as well, but I seem to come up empty-handed.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated... Thanks!

on television. The one thing that bothers me is that from TV, I have heard there are so many poisonous snakes and spiders. It is really that bad? Honestly, are they just mainly in the woods or ranches, or do they inhabit the cities and towns as well? Or is this just sensationalized for a story on TV?

Hey,
Is The Bronx, NY, the same place as Bronxville, NY? I know the name would suggest they're connected but I'm not sure. Thanks. =)

It doesn't have to be a nice apartment. I don't need fancy services. I know there has got to be mediocre buildings without the gardner and pool man and conceirge. I just need a place to live and I don't want to pay $1400 a month for a studio. I am looking for a 1 bedroom under $1000. Any help you could give would be most appreciated. Even if you just send me the name of an apartment building and it's general area. Cheers!

On an upcoming trip, we are starting in San Diego and then going to Anaheim to Disneyland. We have two extra days that we don't have planned and I am curious whether we should go to Los Angeles, the mountains for hiking, palm springs, or to the beach.

We are a 30-something couple who likes the outdoors as well as the city.

Any advice is welcome!

I've heard that you will need a passport for Hawaii and Alaska.

Is this true? I went to Honolulu in 2001 with just with a WA state drivers license. But I think the rules changed as of 2006 or 2007...?

I need to clarify wether or not you'll be needing a passport , as of US travel LAWS, for Alaska or Hawaii. I'm living in Washington state and is a US citizen.

Thanks everyone! And if you have them, please post your source for info.

I don't want answers saying Hawaii and Alaska is part of the USA, because that's a no brainer. (NO FREE POINTS FOR YOU!) : )

I am looking for a phenomenal place to go for a honeymoon and would like good food, snorkling, beaches, etc. One of those once-in-a-lifetime type places. And no high rise resorts. Thanks
