This is a chinese phone number and I am completely useless with trying to figure out this kind of stuff.

I am phoning from the UK tho I dont think it makes a difference. What numbers do I actually dial on the phone to get through?

0086 is country code.
010 is the code of Beijing, but when you dial you don't have to dial front 0.
Beijing's telephone numbers consist of eight digit, so
5880-7986
5880-8364
5880-0325
are three numbers

There is always a Country code, then a city code.....then the number. Your number seems to be too long. I think you need to try dialling all but the last eight. It is also possible that they gave two numbers. Another thing I have found when I call Europe is we (here in the States) do not dial the 0....so, it would be 86-1-5880- 7986.

It probably just means that the last 4 numbers can be switched with the other two sets after the fwd slashes. Is it a private house you are calling or business? Good luck! :)
