I'm going to Sydney and Brisbane for a vacation and I'm buying gifts for all my friends. Does anyone know of any bargain store that sells souvenirs like Koala stuffed toys and other stuff? Preferably I prefer a store that's in the Central area.

I`m going to New York ( Long Island exactly ) and I`m planning to buy a cell phone. I don`t want any plans or something like that, i want only a phone becouse i will be staying in USA for 2 weeks. I can`t find any shop which has a website becouse i would like to see the offer and compare the prices. If you know any good store which sells electronic things please write the name of it and a website.

I'd heard that, traditionally, in Latin America, women added their husband's name to their own two surnames, preceded by 'de'. So when Anna Maria Vazquez Rodriguez married Senor Martinez she became Anna Maria Vasquez Rodriguez de Martinez. Or possibly Anna Maria Vasquez de Martinez. Does this still happen, or is it true that many women just hang onto their own names these days?

and do all Lebanese know that he's Lebanese?

So far in the UK, he's the singer of the year, mkassar el ared!! Specially at the beginning of the year when his album was released.... it was totally unbelievable!!
ALL girls I know fancy him (I'm not sure though if He fancy them or not),

nabzeh 3an 7ayeto only for those who don't know: his dad is an american millionaire, his mom is Lebanese, his sister has an Arabic name, he moved from Lebanon when young to Paris, then to the most expensive street in London,
he speaks Lebanse, French, and English... and Now mwalla3a everywhere with his songs...

I know his album by heart, even though some songs are not my typical type of music, but just to keep up with the conversation when people talk about him.

so HOW MUCH is he famous in Lebanon?

I will be going to NY for 3.5 days
ill be going with my friends we're in the ages of 15-21,2 girls 2 boys. We have read New York books but Im interested in hearing first hand from people whove been there.

How can we divide the days, the last day will be our departure day leaving EWR at 4:30 we have to be there at 2 for int'l flight? On the last day we'll be watching GMA and do last minute shopping, but for the other 3 not sure. Is it convinient to ride public transport or rent a car

We want to do a lot of shopping, we had Bloomies L&T Macys NBC Chinatown and Loehmans. are there other stores that are a NY favourite? Stores w/ designer and low prices

Last 2 question. We are all Canadian citizens but will go to NY from Russia, then home(Moscow-NY-Calgary), do we need to show other ID other than passport? Are traveler checks still accepted and hwere can I get them there, if not I have a visa card but not sure which IDs are needed.

my husband comes home from iraq in november and for his 27th birthday in december i wanted to take him to vegas. now were in the military so we dont make much money, lol, but would like to see a show and maybe renew our vows as well. and air and hotel the best place i have found is expedia. any other ideas? and how much should i bring for eating and cab fares and such? and well just about any other thing you could think of i need help with. this is kind of like our honeymoon/ bday/ get to know each other again since hes been gone for 15 months. and we didnt have a honeymoon when we got married becasue he went straight to korea for a year. so i want this so special, but im poor! help me please? thank you.
