G'day,

I am living in Melbourne. I saw plenty of Africans everywhere in Melbourne, especially in Kensington area. Unfortunately I can't tell whether or not they are South African. Also I will not be able to tell if there are many white-South African in Melbourne.

As far as I know, if the African are moslem, they tend to live in the Brunswick area. However as most answerers mentioned, they are very widespread all over Melbourne.

Hope this helps.

If you are asking where there are more South Africans then any other spot in Melbourne, I have to agree with the previous posting. However I do know there is a major South African born representation in Perth

Maybe it is because it is closer to the African continent?

Houses and flats, same as everyone else. There is no particular concentration of South Africans in Melbourne to my knowledge.

There is quite a large contingent of Saffys in Caulfield. I know there is a South African shop that you can buy biltong etc (like the aussie shops in the UK)
