.... and not a seasoned air traveller! Appreciate your advice on :
(1) We are getting our connecting flight at Dubai as a stopover for 2-3 hours where we will stay in the airport. Both journies will be with Emirates. Do we collect our bags as normal and re-check in on the connecting flight or are the bags automatically transferred for us?
(2) As the Oz voltage is the same, do we need adaptors for hairdryers, chargers etc?
May sound silly questions, but when you've never done it, you've never done it! Sensible answers only please..... cheers!

When I went voting, I saw women covered in black clothes... in this heat.

My belief is that, these women are covered by force by their fathers and husbands, and these same women, that have to come out in this sweltering heat in those tents, see me and my like as... well... bad women.

Strangely, there are certain Americans and Europeans who see these women's dresses as a "democratic right". So, the question is:

Who thinks that çarşaf/chador/black tents are democratic rights of a woman (please think about the circumstances as well as the "principle") and why? No foul language, please, I want honest opinions.

I have a history of a broken family. My family broke up when some of my relatives started to join fellowships and being baptized to another religion. Day after day, it seemed like endless arguments like which is the true religion, what religion would save us and so on. I completely lost this belief that religion could make me a better person. Now, I just simply rely on my basic instincts like what is good and what is bad and that keeps me away from harm. And I have this theory that wars before were created by religion.
