Listen to her. Thats all you have to do. Dont leave her alone in the begining. She needs to be around you. Also keep male company away from her as this could lead to more problems. I f she has kids then they will also keep ber busy. Let her try knew things that she never did befor. Keep her interested in some thing she was never alowed to do with her husband eg:gym or dancing. Let her reinvent herself and enjoy life with out a relationship. Good luck my friend. You are one in a million.

Sorry , can't help with the funny stuff .....would you like my honest opinion ?

I reckon if you do what you do best ...... be a good friend , a listening ear , a shoulder to cry on , someone who cares , it will be more useful than any number of jokes!

what she will need now is for you to listen to her..really to be honest nothing can make her feel better except for time... what you can do is maybe go to the salon with her take her shopping try to make her feel good about her looks... shes feeling insecure right now i am sure and trust me divorce IS one of the hardest things anyone can go through.. I would try to have alot of girl time out.. her seeing you with your husband or you talking about your married life family life will make her miss him soo much more..

Tell her that she is a lucky lady..
I agree with Kate.. we are the ones that need to cheer up.

Your job isn't to cheer her up. It's to keep her company and provide a shoulder to weep on. Divorce isn't a laughing matter. Ignoring it (i.e. joking is a diversion) doesn't make the pain go away.

Talk to her -- visit her alot. There is nothing worse than breaking up with someone and being left alone. She needs company.

first you have to cheer me up and tell me who is she:

Second tell her that she is lucky, at least she got married, and now she can spend all his money by herself, and be single once again!!!

Single life is not soo bad!! its hard @ nights when no one is there to cuddle, thats why they invented big stuffed bears with beer belly's.
