Go to one of the mayor train stations, (Gare du North, Gare St Lazare, Gare Montparnasse, Gare d' Austerlitz, Gare de l'Est, Gare de Lyon,) and go to the information office there, or to the ticket office for the 'grande ligne' if you know which ticket you want to have.

If you have an official address in Europe you might qualify for an InterRail card:

(like Eurail but different system,) you will certainly qualify for the young peoples tickets if you are younger than 26 (I do not know what happens if you are 26.)
Take your passport with you, so you can prove your age. Also bring proof of address if you have it. Some places they do not bother to check, other places look at your passport and you can not get an interrail card at all.

If you want to travel from the south of Spain to the North of Germany, consider a cheap flight, specially if you have to buy single tickets.

If Eurail is cheaper for you, have someone at home buy it for you and send it, (check how long that will take,): http://www.raileurope.com/us/rail/passes/eurail_index.htm

one among my terrific friends is African American and we've traveled throughout Europe which contain out issues. If something, she have been given quite some interest from the community adult men who theory she replace into surprisingly and unique. She even studied for a semester in Spain and did not have any issues. Racism is many times directed in direction of immigrants, not vacationers. once you're a black American vacationer, you have got human beings finding at you in a small city, yet won't have any issues. you will not have any subjects in England - there's an excellent African and Caribbean inhabitants and no-you will even provide you a 2d look. France additionally has an excellent black inhabitants, fairly in enormous cities like Paris so which you will not even stand out.
