Okay, here goes an obscure one... I can remember seeing a television special in the late 90's that visited a never publicly seen underground home just outside Las Vegas. In a huge concrete room outfitted with astroturf, fake trees, wall and ceiling murals to give the appearance of outdoors, there was a groovy sprawling 60's bungalow built with all the amenities. There was even a pool if memory serves me. I believe it was owned by Sinatra, or maybe joint ownership by the Rat Pack. I cannot find any info on the net.... am I mad, did I dream this? Does anyone know of any details or a site(s) that refers to this?

Even confirmation that you have seen the same show would be of help.

Thanks.

I have heard that the $2 bill (USA) is considered "lucky" in Vietnam. Because of this, you can exchange a $2 bill for DOUBLE its official exchange rate.

For example, the current exchange rate is $1 US = 16,000 Vietnamese Dong. So, $2 US = 32,000 Vietnamese Dong. However, if you have a $2 bill, in Vietnam you can exchange it for 64,000 Vietnamese Dong. This is an effective 100% gain on a $2 investment. Is this true???

My wife is Vietnamese so we visit Vietnam about once a year. If this IS true, then maybe I have found a way to make our dollars go twice as far!!!

Yesterday, there was a problem again, and sometimes i really wonder if we have to be here a touristic section in order to avoid conflicts..
I want to apologise if i hurt some people, i dint have this intention.People who know me know also very well that i never take the part of anyone.
I didnt take the part of any user, believe me i know all so less..
I just try to clear, that here nobody approves the insults, and i have underlined it yesterday..Nobody wants to offend..
The problem is that i have been misunderstood, because i said that we can not eliminate any user because he has a preference to a nation. As we can not forbid to anyone to enter our section for good or bad..
I am not double faced, i know maybe you ll report my question, but i really want to keep a balance, and if i hurt people(that i always try to respect, and especially those who are against Greece)i apologise..
But i swear, the comment was innocent,we have to be kind and to recommend the same to everyone..

I plan to go there some time in the future, but I don't know much about it. So far the only things I know is that there over 40,000 Jehovah's Witnesses there. It has 21,000,000 people, It is in Europe, It is a poor country, and the girl of my dreams lives there. LOL Seriously though, what do you know about Romania?
