You cannot find well-known holiday companies in the "north" because "North Cyprus", or "Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus" as Turks like to call it, is a de facto, autonomous ILLEGAL, unrecognized territory, ILLEGALLY occupied by Turkish army in the 1974 by force..... If you are planning also to use the ILLEGAL "airport" in the ILLEGAL part of the island, then say goodbye to your future trips in ANY country, because you're being ILLEGAL.....If you want to visit that ILLEGAL territory, then you have to land in south (FREE) Cyprus, and cross the border.....Then you'll be LEGAL but you will be ILLEGAL in the eyes of the Greeks, Greek Cypriots, and people that suffered a lot from Turkey........If you want to be fully LEGAL and respectful, then visit the free part of the island (more developed, richer, more beautiful)

I just came back from there! It was my best holiday ever.

edit: Don't mind irrelevant comments such as the one below. If you ask the guy "how are you" he'll start talking about "You Turks bla bla bla vik vik vik" Enjoy your holiday!

Tourists are not interested in historical or political conflicts. They search the good service for cheap prices. North Cyprus IS a paradise and I can guarantee everyone a wonderful holiday. You fly off the handle on a totally unrelated wild tangent, which makes you look funny.
