Anyone have good suggestions on family type activities (eg things to see or visit or do) while we are holidaying around Cairns. We will be there for approx 2-3 weeks.

We are going on a holiday to Cairns in late October and looking for some good quality self contained accomodation. It would need to have two bedrooms (2 adults , one child) .... ideally we are thinking of something along the lines of a small house / cottage. Can anyone recommend and provide links ?

What if I wanted to pack canned food with me on my trip out of the country. Will I be able to bring the food if it were packed in my luggage and not carried-on? What about airfresheners/insect repellent sprays. Pretty random, but doesn't hurt to be cautious.

I want to go parasailing in San Diego. I've looked at www.goparasailing.com but I don't think their prices are reasonable. The site says the boat ride is approximately one hour and each person gets about 7 min. of parasailing. It costs $70...so basically $10/min? Is there any other place that has more reasonable pricing?

I'm going to Morocco to meet a guy I've been talking to online for awhile. Also taking my toddler daughter. I am unsure of the customs (i.e. dressing, communicating, etc) so that I don't offend him or his family. I have also heard stories about relationships gone bad, things to watch for would be very helpful!! Also, what's the best way to keep in contact with family back in the US?? Thanks for any pointers!!
