Athens is going to be 43C today... The worst thing is the hot air... Yesterday afternoon I was driving back home, and the wind blowing was so hot that I was thinking that my face was going to melt, or burst up in flames... Luckily nothing of the above happened...
I went home turned on the all 3 a/c's and stayed there at a great temperature of 26C when outside was approximately 36C :):)
I think that the a/c is a great invention! An even greater would be clothes that remain cool at any temperature, and cooling-couches... !!! I'll be the first that buys those!!!

Gecmis Olsun!
Thank God I'm not in Izmir at the moment, it must be hell!
In my house in Ayvalik it's a pleasant 29c, no Air Con, just thick stone walls.
Back to work in Izmir next week, maalesef!

I'm in Adana at the moment. What can I say, I'm enjoying the heat with my every pore.
(Man, I should have been born in the North Pole, I could be watching the seals swimming and the polar bears drinking coke)
Bosphorus; I will act as a missioner and talk them into quitting coke. No worries.

Hey...I went to 35 degree Istanbul to cool off from 57 degree Bucharest, Romania! When you've experienced 45 degrees in the shade, then we can talk about having fun!

For me it's not that bad. I installed air conditioners in every room in my house. Since I'm from the colder part of America, I'm not that comfortable in the heat in Turkey...I'm like a polar bear :))))

Sitting in A/C right now, but off to London tomorrow, where 20 C and torrential downpours will seem downright refreshing!

I am terribly sorry to hear that all of you have to suffer that much from the heat. I wished I could do something! Hang on and take it easy!

Athens too... I'm Laurence of Arabia, sand storms are expected and my camel needs an oasis...
(loosing my brains...)
Edit: Yes, Ipek. At last it has been repaired.... You may start a relationship with it now that it's brand new....
Edit: Frank, I'd rather be Noah than Lawrence...
