I think that the best and mature way of living is playing safe but it's hard for me to respect it because I am adventurous by nature. No matter how hard I try, I end up sometimes living things on the edge! And how beautiful it is!

I love life!! I tend to play it safe because i want to live to enjoy it (simple logic no?)

But i definitely enjoy a bit of adventuring every once in a while, i believe that there are things out there, "gifts" provided by nature for our pleasures and explorations; (i.e. water and mountain sports) I love being spontaneous but i will stop at some point just to double-check that what I'm doing is simply not suicidal or endangering anyone around me....

Although, I have been to the "edge"and beyond on certain occassions ;p Oopsie

I lived life in the fast lane, this seemed adventurous at the time, including night camel racing, go kart racing, quad racing, booze races(who can down the most tequilas in 5 mins), always intoxicated, clubbing EVERY night - were those the days - NO WAY! I had a wake up call in the nick of time. I lost my job, my money, my respectability to some extent and almost my home!
These days i move in new circles & tend to play safe with my new found friend(s)! I also have a job i enjoy, money in my purse and enourmous admiration & respect for my new friends who i know respect me too for my recent achievements but without them i probably - NO Defiinitely - would not be here!

Yes I am. I consider I have already obvious this question Aussie... But might be fairly specific... I consider that the pleasant and mature method of dwelling is gambling secure however it is tough for me to recognize it when you consider that I am adventurous via nature. No subject how tough I take a look at, I grow to be routinely dwelling matters at the aspect! And how lovely it's! ( that used to be my reply). What is probably the most adventurous factor I have ever performed???? That's a tough query.

Depend how you define 'the life on edge' ore 'play safe'...

It is easy to play safe but often one is placed in an unknown and scary situation in order to appreciate or understand the fear or bravery. What is safe for one person doesn't necessarily mean that is safe for another.

There are two explanations of bravery:
1. Brave 'the edge' physically - person - being stupid and try to get into Guinness book of records for who knows what... or
2. Brave 'the edge' intellectually - person being smart and stand up for the rights (own and weaker people). As you know Many people are compassionate but would not put their life or carrier on 'the edge' to stand up for themselves or others.

I like to play safe, however at the same time I live my life on the edge as I can stand up for myself and others... including you.

I know someone who always plays safe games and that person is always safe.... you know that person too.... our office 'big brother' player.

Sometimes I play it safe, sometimes I'm a step back from the edge. I almost never go to the edge

A bit of both in a good balance ..
Depends on life circumstances.
Sometimes you need to be adventurous, bcoz the moment requires it.
And.....sometimes you have the necessity to play safe bcoz you are not alone or another pple depends on you.
