My vacation is coming in two more weeks. I was planning on going on a cruise by myself (23 years old). Any recommendations and tips?

The best prices that I have found overall are from www.cruisequick.com.

HOWEVER they do not hold your hand. What I mean is that you need to know what cruise you want, what ship, date and category. You cannot call them, they do not answer a phone.

They are internet based only, completely legitimate, and offer a bonus or discount that most other agents don't offer.

They work on a flat fee profit and are completely automated.
They do answer emails promptly.

Their site explains how they work. I have used them for years, without any problems. They offer free price quotes via email that include all port fees, taxes etc.
Happy Cruising !

I checked on Carnival and you will be able to book a room for yourself, as long as no one under the age of 21 is staying in the same cabin with you. Check out Carnival.com. From there you can search for a cruise that best suits your needs. You can also look at the Specials page on the Carnival website, and you might find some last minute deals. You will want to book quickly so that you will recieve your documents and such in time for your cruise. Carnival would be the best choice if you are traveling alone. Have a great time on your cruise!

First of all, all cabins on cruise ships are sold based on double occupancy. So if you want to go by yourself you will have to pay a double fare . Second, If you have not already made a reservation you may be left at the pier waving to people who are leaving. You cannot just walk up to a cruise ship on sail day and buy a ticket. Third, if you are thinking about going on a Carnival ship you are again out of luck as they have a requirement that the minimum age to book a cruise is 25 year of age or older. The other cruise lines you must be at least 21 years old.

So, if you get past all of these hurdles, do have a nice cruise.

Carnival would be the best one if you are alone and book it now but look at flight times to get there since it's last minute you want to make sure you can make it. Or you can add your flight with your cruise but remember it will be more expensive.
Good luck and have fun.
It would be best with a second person though.

check around for the best price -- sometimes the cruise lines will have SINGLE rates. Timing is everything!
