I have never seen a country who's daughters have been so used by foreigners for sex. In the western media, whenever Thailand is brought up, it is always a reference to prostitution. HIV and child prostitution and slavery are rampant, as are sex changes, and an age of consent that is way too low.

And all of the women becoming bar girls (and I know for a fact that they all do not do this because of poverty, although many do, some do it just because they like being in this lifestyle and being used this way). And Pattaya, is there a modern Gommorah if I ever saw one... A city that otherwise geographically would be a nice play to visit is corrupted by everything abominable.

I am so tired of trying to convince my young female Thai friends to stop meeting up with their 40 year old white male "buddies" they met on the internet. They fail to realize they are only after one thing. Well, it would seem to westerners that Thailand is only good for one thing...

Me and my boyfriend have been planning a trip to Canada for months and months, we leave on Friday, and I just stumbled upon a piece of information that says that Canada will not let you in with a DUI, My Boyfriend got one (To much embarrassment to us) a while ago (2 years). Is this really an issue? Someone told me they will just give us a harder time about it, but it should be fine... any insight?

Which has nicest weather, least hurricanes, most breezes, perks for sr citizens, best mega churches, etc? Do both have beauty schools, fitness centers with low senior rates, all-u-can-eat buffets? HUD subsidized apts?

Anybody know of low cost 50+ mobile home parks? Where/how to get application for HUD subsidized apts?

I'd love to hear from people on both sides. need to make a decision soon. I'm returning to USA after long absence.

I'm traveling to a new job soon and I'll live abroad for a year or two. I'd like to take extra luggage (and pay extra bag fees) so I have most of what I need with me. Has anyone traveled with a lot of bags lately? Are there carts readily available in airports (and while you move through customs) so a single person can transport several (4) bags? Any tips from recent travelers welcome.

We are going on vacation next week to Baltimore and Washington DC. We have never been to a place where there are trains or subways and all the traffic. We have rented a car but would that be the best way to travel to our tour locations in Washinton and Baltimore or the Nationals MLB Game? Please understand I need it put in simple terms becausue a previous question asked "How deep does the DC metor go?" I don't know what that means. Please help. We want to have the best time on our vacation and not spend all the time in traffic. Thank you!
