North of Maine, east of Canada (although still a part of Canada).

Labrador is the second part of Newfoundland. Went there with some friends to a fishing village. It was amazing.

yeppers I sure do. I was lucky enough to grow up in Nova Scotia, and even luckier to marry a Newfie! Hubby is from Bell Island, Newfoundland. lol definitely from the rock. 2 summers ago we drove from Ontario (our home) to Bell Island and spent a month there. Beautiful place and lots to see. Best part is the people!! lol and ellipse...fyi halifax is the capital of Nova Scotia, St. John's is Newfoundland's capital. Newfoundland is the most eastern part of Canada. It is host to a viking settlement. The first telegraph was received in St. John's. Look it up...many interesting history moments occurred there (some good ghost stories too), it is a province that is rich in tradition.
lmao well Kelly if your project was to prove just how much misinformation was out there I do believe that you have accomplished that!!

Newfoundland is right next to Oldfoundland. ;-)
Okay, so it was not that funny...sigh!

I'm from Montreal in Quebec. Go down the St. Lawrence River to the gulf (past Ile d'Anticosti) and enter the Strait of Belle Isle. Labrador is on your left, Newfoundland is on the right, and Greenland and the North Atlantic is straight ahead.

Yes, I do!

For those of you that don't know Newfoundland is an Island in the Atlantic and a Canadian Provence.

it is the easternmost province in Canada. It is an island, off the coast of Labrador. The official province name is Newfoundland and Labrador. And HALIFAX IS NOT IN NEWFOUNDLAND!!

Finding it should be easy. Just get a map. It's on the East Coast. Well, I don't think it's actually on the Coast, but to me, everything East of the Mississippi is East Coast. It's North of New England, but West of Prince Edward Island. If you are looking for more info on the province, then go to Wikipedia, other trusted sites, the library, or even call their tourism information (like their chamber of commerce or something). I'm sure there's lots of accurate information out there.

It's just off the East coast of mainland Canada. Its largest city, and capital is St. John's, and its second largest city is Fort MacMurray, Alberta!

Yes, it's part of the eastern end Canada, above Quebec. I should have known this off the top of my head by I had to look it up.
