That's because Korea is not in South America. Korea is in Asia, in between China and Japan.

Maybe you should have stayed in school. Korea is located on the eastern edge of Asia, not South America

I'm sure you found China, Vietnam and Japan on that map. If you just look sout of China then you will find the 2 Koreas right next to Argentina, Brazil, Chile and México. You may also (if luck is on your side) find Egypt in there.
