Hi,
I am due to travel to Egypt later this month. Unfortunately not getting any Egyptian Pounds frm here. Apparently, most ppl prefer to take US dollars and then convert in Egypt.
Any idea on what is the current rate in Egypt for 1 USD?
Does it make sense to change at the airport or does one get better deals with local banks/ agents?

I have a B.A. in Art and Languges from USA. I will be teaching English in a language school in Egypt. I'm not familiar with the school system here. I need to know what English level they teach in different school grades so I can decide what grades to teach. Like how advanced they go in Grammar, structures..etc in middle and high school. If you have attended language schools in Egypt please let me know because I need to familiarize myself with the system and know what to expect.

I'm heading out to Jacksonville to party with some friends of mine ina few days. Sometime in Februarury, we should be arriving in Geneva around 16:00 hrs (4 PM). We want to spend 3-4 days in Lucerne. Is it advisable to catch a train from the airport and head to Lucerne on the same night? How safe is it to arrive in Lucerne around 20.00 or 21.00 Hrs? Because I believe it gets dark early in the winters.

OR should we stay overnight in Geneva and head out early morning next day? If yes, please suggest some budget hotel ( which I know is difficult :-))

driving to florida staying with family for about 3 days then going to the beach hitting daytona for bike week then coming home. there are 3 of us our son being 2. we are taking 1500.00 do u think that will be enough we will be there for 8 day including travel time we will rent a hotel maybe 3-4 days. should we take more or are we fine we figure about 300-400 in gas.. hoping nothing goes wrong!

What do you type in MS Word while using the Japanese IME to get the characters for "Air Mail"? The Japanese word for air mail is "kokubin." But when I type it in MS Word using the IME, the wrong characters pop up. Please help?
