As I know it, liquids in a checked bag are O.K., but I would put it in a couple of sealed zip bags incase the lack of pressure in the cargo area pops your cork and the wine spills (not that this commonly happens, but you don't want to be the unlucky one).

It depends on which type of flight you are taking .
in domestic flight there is no restriction now to carry liquids
