<>Don't forget-that's peak season down there...prices will be higher than off-season. You might want to plan for a little more or take an emergency credit card.

I live 60 miles west of Daytona...
I can tell you that during bike week, the rates and gas prices go up because of the 'tourists'
It all depends on where you will be staying, the cost of the rooms...gas will probably be (right now it is $2.37) and the cost of food is not something to ignore (2 people 4 times a day B, L, D, & snack)...
where are you staying? it may be cheaper to go 30 miles inland and drive to save $50 a night...that is the major variable if you do not know where you are goingto stay...I would figure at least $150 (125 + 25 taxes) a night if you want a nice hotel (although there are a lot of old but nice beachfront places if you do not require a name brand place like Holiday Inn, Hilton...that may go for 50-60 a night, but reservations go quickly so if you don't have any by now, I would get onthe phone...)
good luck...be careful...there are stuill a lot of crazy people out there and when they get drunk, they ger crazier...you see, a majority of these bikers are middle-aged and older trying to relive their 20's and get drunk, crazy, and try to kick everyones butt...
