I know exactly what i want out of a vacation but i don't know which island would best offer it. I want to spend my days relaxing on a quiet beach, or possibly going on some kind of cave/waterfall/jungle exploration. I love snorkeling so i have to be sure the island is good for that. I also am on SPRING BREAK! So i definitely want the island to have some pretty good nightclubs and shopping.

Do internet cafes in Metro Manila usually have scanners for customers to use? I have a friend in Quezon City who is looking to send some documents to me but they don't have a scanner at home. Any cheap places to spend a 9 p.m. 'til 6 a.m. in the Cities while waiting for a bus? I'm not concerned about getting a fancy place and don't want a motel unless it's like $15 a night. Don't the YMCAs let you rent rooms or beds to stay overnight? What about hostels?
