If we go to Liverpool (England) there are only 2 options to get home i.e.

Drive through the tunnel,
Travel by train.

It would be nice to be able to stroll over at leisure and not worry about getting taxi's on New Year's Eve for instance.

I'm planning for a canal boat holiday in British Waterways in summer 2007 for 2 people. I'll start from London and my preference is to go North (no return) or do a loop (i.e. oxford canal then grand union and back to London). I'd like to know:
1- What routes would you recommend?
2- How much does it cost to hire a boat for 2 people for 1 week?
3- Where I can hire a cheap boat?
4- Any other recommendation.

Regards

I plan to move to Japan in a few years after I finish my nursing degree. I havent been there yet but I think I will check out the place before I jump into things. I studied Japanese all through primary school but I only know Hiragana and a few phrases. I dont know anyone over there. I want to work as either a nurse or an english teacher is there a way of making my dream a reality?

p.s I am a Half-Filipino Australian girl. Will they think it is weird that I look asian but dont understand them or their customs, worse still will they think I am rude? The last thing I want to do is offend someone.

If anyone has anything to say that will help me out or would just like to tell me past experiances in Japan I would really appreciate it.

Thanks.

can anybody tell me how much spending money we will need roughly for a 2week holiday in orlando. there is just myself and my partner going. i am booking park tickets before i go so would just like an idea of how much we'd need for food and drinks, transport etc. We are not fussy eaters so were not bothered for posh food, we dont drink that much so a few beers each evening will be fine.

This summer I plan to go on a Carnival Cruise with four close friends, ranging in ages 17-28 (I'm 24). We're all over 21, except for my 17 year-old cousin. I was wondering, will she be able to participate in activities like the casino, bars, and drinking? Do they card? Not that I'm promoting underage drinking, but she is a mature 17 year-old. I'm sure if we all order beers, she'll feel funny sitting there drinking Coke...
Thanks guys.

Now that the Burlington nuclear bunker at Corsham has been made public, what should the place be used for? Guided tours? Shops?

Hey, peopel I think almost everyone have experinece or idea about Nigerian scammers that sends e-mail convincing people to send thier personal informations and stuff.. Well, if you have please share your experiences and give others tips how to avoid it.. We are all trying to prevent iddentity thefts online.. If someone doesn't know please tell him how it works.. I'm really aware of them everyday and what I do is that I report the mail as spam and never reply at all.. I think that's a great way to do it...

So please everyon never be convinced by someone to send your personal information to them...

This is how Nigerian scammers gain money online now...

I went to a Christmas party in a Mexican Neighborhood and we did the Posada and then there was a Pinata and they sang a song and I only understood the end... it went: "Dale dice uno, dale dice dos, dale dice tres, el tiempo se acabo" but I couldn't get the first part. I really thought the song was cute, so I was wondering if anyone knew the rest of it??

I'm currently studying in Canada but my citizenship is Vietnamese. I'm from a third world country so I figure I would need to obtain a Visa to get into England and Germany. The problem is I can't go back to Vietnam to apply for the visa. It's to expensive to fly home for just that, and it's worse that I don't have time either. Is there any other way to apply for my travel EU visa from Canada? It is just a trip with my art class and the duration is only 2 weeks and 4 days.
