I'm sending a letter to a friend of mine in the Philippines and I want to include a small necklace in the envelope with the letter. (I'm sending the letter from Canada). I've heard that there are mailing restrictions when sending through regular mail to the Philippines from an international country. For example, I heard that PhilPost will confiscate anything from an international country if it is a parcel package and not a letter. Is that true?? That's why I want to include the necklace in a letter instead of a parcel for fear that it wil be confiscated. (I've already sent one parcel that was never received through regular mail). Would it be safe to include the necklace in a letter instead?? It is small and light. Thanks!
