The building in the background is the San Francisco Armory 1800 Mission [at 14th]. It is listed on the national registry of historic places.
It has been sitting empty for decades. The last time it was in use was over 15 years ago when it was used briefly as a emergancy homeless shelter.

I can't really tell what street that's on, but it reminds me of the skateboarders on the Embarcadero.
