If only pr is your main intention to go and settle in australia then u can go on student visa which is the easiest & best way out. But u have not mentioned your educational & professional background. There are so many AUS uni's offering varied courses in different fields.....but the jobs & professions in demand in the national occupancy list have more weightage and if u enroll for a course in one of them and can continue working in it making it ur career then that would be beneficial to you in the long run. Don't just think that getting a pr in AUS is that easy.....you have to think very seriously for getting the pr as that decision would affect your future career and life. I have seen people getting attracted to go to AUS on student visa & wanting to settle there thru pr but many have left their courses in between and have come back home. PR is not fun....think many times in all aspects before actually going and settling in that country. If you are sure that u want to settle there for the rest of your life then go check out the aussie government website for immigration and you will get all the latest information pertaining to it. U can also check out www.workpermit.com, www.immigrationexpert.com. All the best....!!

I gather you are talking about immigration "points", or score for allowing temporary or permanent residency in that country.

Again, this is absolutely the wrong place to ask such a question. Please refer to the Australian Embassy in your country to get the most up-to-date information on immigration matters.
