Six Flags Magic Mountain: if your a roller coaster kind of person i suggest you go there, that's personally my favorite since i'm older. If you love, or like roller coasters they have 17 coasters to choose from including X, which is like the best, and their new coaster, Tatsu. This last week of winter break is the best time to go there, because most of the kids are back in school, and every year i've been there during this time its NO LINE wait, i went on rides 50 times in 8 hours.
Knott's Berry Farm: well there's not much to do there, there's a variety of rides, and like a couple of roller coasters there, but nothing special there. the ride that's most exciting there is Xcelerator, and Supreme Scream..in my opinion.
Disneyland: a very fun, family-oriented theme park. Its filled with tons of rides, but if your an adult then i suggest the rides you would want to go on are Space Mountain, maybe Splash Mountain, Indiana Jones. Its a very fun place to go to, but if you don't like little kid rides like Pirates of the Caribbean, or It's a Small World, or rides in the Fantasyland area, maybe this isn't the place for you, its supposed to be made Kid-friendly rides. ..but as of now, i think school's are back in session right this next week, and it will be somewhat-less crowded.

Six Flags is closing down right now and I would NOT recommend it. It is a gang hangout with bathrooms that don't work and trash everywhere.
Disneyland is OK but prices can be a little high and the rides are more targeted to little kids. Also, Disneyland is always crowded.
Knott's Berry Farm is the best. Their prices are very cheap, half of Disneyland. (Disneyland $65 a day Knotts $30) Knott's has some really fun rollercoasters like Xcelerator, Silver Bullet, Boomerang. I really would recommend Knott's, it's never crowded.
and to what disneykrayzie said about me: look at this

It depends on who you are going with and what you want to do.
Overall I would say Disneyland it is just a good park to go and you will not be disapointed. If you are traveling with Kids the Disneyland is definatly where you would want to go.
If you love Coasters then Six Flags is where you want to go. I personally would not take kids there because it has limited Kids rides and it does have a "rougher" crowd.
Knotts Berry Farm is really between Disneyland and Six Flags in attractions. They have a couple of big coasters but also a decent amount for kids to do.

Go to Six Flags if you like fast and scary rollercoasters. Go to Disneyland if you're more into a family style theme park with lots of kids running around everywhere. Knott's would be my last choice because the last time I went, it seemed run down.

Depends on who your going with. If taking small children, Universal Studios and Disneyland is better. Disneyland however is pretty crowded and their lighting at night is not great. Once the sun sets, the few lights they have still make it hard to see-if taking kids, make sure they are close to you....many people+ little lights = easy to lose. Six Flags is more if your going with older children or friends. U. Studios is an attraction for everyone, and you have the benefit of also being next to U.Studios City Walk which offeres nice restaurants, bars, theatres, and gift shops.

HUm very hard.
I love six flag's rides but its supposedly closing down!! but six flags is normally crowded during school breaks. this park is best suited for teens cuz of the fast rides.
ill only go to knotts cuz its closer to me and the least crowded compared to disney and six flags! knotts is more of a family park but also teens too.
disneyland is practically fun for all ages! buts its like crowded all year long. but i luv disneyland!

If you love the scary rides, go to Magic Mountain. My favorite is the "X". If you are going to have kids with you, then Disneyland is the better choice. They are both fun, and the lines will be terrible at both. Sometimes you can find discounts for Magic Mountain too. Have fun!!

I am fond of Disneyland its a mgical place. But it depends on what you like if your more thrill seaking then Magic Moutain is the place to go.
As for what Someone Special said above Magic Mountain is not closing and is not a gang hangout, It got a bad rep in the early 90's for some gang related violence, but has become a nice place to go. I live next door to the park.

My bet would be Disneyland -- you get what you paid for.
Seriously though, if you came out here or are stuck here, you really souldn't be visiting the theme parks here. All of the real theme parks are in the Eastern Time Zone.
Also, avoid SFMM -- the place is a living hell.
