Hmm...Corfu is really nice...it is traditional..with nise houses and landscapes...but its small..and you can go around in like 2 days...it doesn have many museums for example! i went to corfu on august...and it was nice...but i didnt have many things to do...i m greek so pretty much i knew everything about corfu...About crete...its an amazing island...it has 4 big cities and each one has its own history..if you have time, know how to go (i mean where to eat, what to see)...go to crete..but if you want a place to relax, see some stuff and have fun (clubs...not so many though)..go to corfu! happy new year!

You are trying to compare two different things.
Crete is a big island, sometimes you even forget how bit it is. Crete is ideal for long term holidays because you have a lot of things to do, but if you don't have a lot of days then Corfu is perfect since it's a smaller island.
Either way both islands are beautiful and I have passed great holidays there :)

Both islands are beautiful. If you have many days go to Crete if not go to Corfu. Both have very nice places to visit and many good hotels to stay. If you are interested more in archaeological sites Crete has more to offer. Not to forget saying that in both you will find very good restaurants and taverns with Greek and Mediterranean food
