Teh tarik, the famous milk tea which is 'pulled' to make it cooler.. Found mostly in mamak(Indian Muslim) stalls.. I once heard of an interesting analogy about it representing the skin colours of the multi-races in Malaysia; tea leaves= Indians, milk= Chinese, teh tarik= Malays.. harmonious mixture of all 3 major races represents the unique culture of Malaysia's own teh tarik. =)

I think it's fine, up until your 15 - 17 where you study for 1 year straight for your exams in june or july i think and then you have to do the same again for another year. And then your marks from the exams you have done decide what university you go too.

That's the only bit i don't like in the system of education in Egypt..

What's your opinion?

We are looking for the best value accommodation near the new international airport in Bangkok. This would include motels further away but the costs would have to include taxi fares. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

I will arrive in Luzerne on the 29th this month for 2 days, 2 nights. Could somebody help me with my initiary?

I have a railpass, so it entitles me to free ride on steamer/boat on the lake or reduced price to either of the alps. Which do you think is a must? We could only afford either one for the time/budget that we have.

On the 2nd day, we plan to visit the firstly the glacier museum, then the lion monument, then we plan to spend the rest of the afternoon/evening walking through the old city.

We would also appreciate any tips/comments on good places to eat (preferably cheap), and anything else we must not miss in Luzerne.

Thank you so much for your help! and have a belated Happy New Year!

You are a modern, civilized , and multi-cultural society so I am shocked at what some of these employers get away with. Yes, I know the employer must pay a tax which is greater than the maid's
salary so there may be some resentment there. One would expect foreign-worker abuse in less-tolerant societies but I believe you guys are better than that.

Don't believe it's that prevalent? Search "singapore domestic workers" and your engine will return article after article of abuse cases.

I know some cities have a club or bar pass that you buy and then you do not have to pay cover at any club. Does Vegas have such a pass?
