I am heading out the door in a little bit to buy a couple of pieces of new luggage and wanted your opinions regarding this.

I swear by my samsonite luggage. I had the same suit case for 9 years and then the airline managed to wreak it and now I have a new one. They also have lots of compartments which I like and are reenforced. I have been all over Europe, Canada, the Middle East and Asia with that stuff so I am pretty convienced. They also have a good warrenty.

I'd recommend Samsonite, but really any brand will do. Just get the cheap stuff, because then if you fly and they lose it or tear it up, at least you're not out much. Don't fall for all of the pretty colors, because after a few road trips or one ride on the belts at the airport, they'll be black anyway.

Hardcover Samsonite. I think the line is called "Oyster".

I would think hard cover luggage would be best.

Mine, and it's still out there.

Last time I fly "Hooters Air".

At least the in flight movie was good.
