I need to find a plumber - I am house sitting for my brother and don't speak French - what a mess! Please help!

I am going to Paris next week and staying at the Hotel Royal Opera, to book my reservation I had to use my mums Visa cos I don't own one. The hotel asks for the full payment to be made at the end of our stay, would they accept cash or would I have to use the Visa that I made to confirm my reservation?

For Christmas, I got a MacBook, and a case with a strap on it. My backpack also has a small slot for a laptop that size inside. I need to take my laptop to school, because I do an after school activity, then I walk straight to my singing lesson. I need my laptop for my singing lesson, because I use it to record my lessons on my laptop. When I bring it to school, I will definetly leave it with my homeroom teacher for the whole day.
1. Should I bring it in the case, in a tote bag?
2. Put it in the case in my backpack?
3. Or just bring the other case with the strap and carry that along with my backpack?

Hotels in Bahamas, Cancun, or any Caribbean island would suffice, but Bahamas or Cancun is preferred. My boyfriend and I are both 19 and would like to travel there this summer. Several of the ones I've looked at say you must be 21 to check in, but I wasn't sure if I was missing something...and I really hope I am. Please help!
