Yes ***holes if you do check the meaning of country ,you would see that most of the Caribbean islands could be called countries AND islands fools because most of them are independant Nations/countries which happens to be surrounded by water (island).You ignorant north atlantic ple believe that you are so intelligent and you all dont even have a proper sense of geography. The only places they* think make up the caribbean are Jamaica and Peurto Rico if they know anywhere exists beyond their 50 states that is.So get a Dictionary foolish ones and look up the meaning of Country.

And they are not dominated by the tourist trade. On my cruise, we were unable to dock in the main port since "the banana boat" was loading; bananas being a major income for the island. Instead, we docked by the wildlife refuge.

the button i pressed said: 'answer this question' but unfortunatly i fail to see where the question to be answered is. :S. i think this is you just trying to show off dat you know about the carribean, which you dont coz as he said^^^^^^^^^^ they are islands... not countries. i swear some people are so stupid.
