I think that Thailand is a great place to travel. My boyfriend and I were there Jan - Mar of 2006. It is very cheap, food is great, relatively safe, the people are kind, the history is rich, the terrain is diverse (cities, countryside, beaches, hills, forests, etc), and you can get around very very easily. We were there as part of a bigger 1 year world trip and after all was said and done... I loved Thailand best. Some fav spots were koh phi phi, Bangkok (though some people hate it), Chiang Mai, and Pai. Cambodia's Angkor Wat in Siem Riep is also amazing... and you can get there by land fairly inexpensively from Bangkok. I've found Lonely Planet's Thorn Tree an invaluable place to research or post a travel question. Happy Travels.

I love to go to Egypt! London was too expensive and I hated Bahamas because the natives bug the hell out of you, but the water is beautifull! Also i hated being on the ship for a wk.
