Just want to know what the general view of Irish people living there is. I know there are many Irish young people living there on a working holiday visa. Have they given themselves a bad or good reputation?! I am going to australia on a WHV and want to know what the general view of us is!!

Is it just me or do you think south africans are brought up with more respect than in other countrys. I live in london and almost everyday i'm shocked at the kids here, the way they talk to their parents without any respect, the jobs vadelising the busses, throwing fireworks at people. to be honest i'm scared at the kids over here. Young chavs getting pregnant at 12 and 13. I know this happens in almost every country but, if I or any of my friends talked to elder people like they do i woudn't be able to sit like for 2 days. Is it just me or does any of you living abroad see it aswell?

I've been looking all over the internet and I can't find a sunset sail activity that does not include dinner and entertainment. My friend cannot go with me on a boat and it would be awkward for me if I went on a sunset cruise by myself so I've been looking for a sunset cruise/sail that does not include dinner and entertainment. If I can find one on the island, I don't think it would be awkward for me to go on that alone. Does anyone who's been there know where I can find it?

I'm an American living in Schopfheim, Germany?
And my husband and I are looking to meet people to hangout with... Is there anyone that lives near us. Schopfheim is in the far south-west. We've been to Vancouver twice (from the UK) and would very much like to go back to watch the skating and downhill skiing in 2010. Can anyone tell me when the tickets for the Olympics will go on sale and how I'd get hold of them in the UK? Also, we stayed at the Pan Pacific last time which was truly fab - does anyone know how far in advance they (or any other good hotel) would allow us to book.
