I am traveling to Bangkok, Pattaya and Phuket in December for Christmas vacation.
I have heard a lot about body massage in these three cities. I would like to know the BEST places to have body massage in the above-mentioned cities.

The classic place to go for the best massage in Bangkok is the Wat Po massage school.
They are renowned for giving the best massage in Thailand and obviously you can learn to do the massage yourself if you like it. The first course takes about 30 hours.
It is obviously situated in Wat po which is close to the Grand Palace

From my own experience, in Bangkok Healthland Spa has been best for me. Very good massage, clean rooms, enough equipments, and reasonable price. Lots of locals (Chinese Thais, I guess) were there as well. For details, refer to their website http://www.healthlandspa.com/home.html
In Pattaya, I always have massage on the beach. While you are relaxing on a beach, they will come to you asking "massage?". Feeling sea breeze, it is wonderful moment to have massage in the palm shade. About THB300 for an hour (tourist price). Sorry I have not had massage in Phuket.
Above all, good massage all depends on who does massage you not where you go. So I suggest you to try as many place as possible and find out Mr/Ms Right for you, and be sure to ask his/her name for your next visit. Enjoy!

i have never been to bangkok but i can recommend to you the different resort spas in the Philippines... They are one of the world class masseurs aside from the ambiance it has in the place.. it's really a wonderful experience that i fell asleep as the session was on going... why not try Philippines?
