Best beach in the Philippines is Amanpulo in Palawan. Its expensive but worth it. Next are El Nido, Club Noah, Dos Palmas, Club Paradise, Bohol beach, Alegre Beach, Badian Island and a lot more.

Isabelle hit it right on the money. Boracay is NOT the best beach in the Philippines, but it is a very nice beach with a lot of tourists and good nightlife.
The Calamian group of islands (Busuanga) has many beaches that are much nicer than Boracay, but is much quieter than Boracay.

best beach is boracay for some, i like coron palawan, with all the limestones, cleanest lake, lagoons, very clear water, wreck or fund diving, snorkelling a lot of water activities too.. actually almost the whole island of palawan is unspoiled and really paradise. so come and enjoy!

if you want a beach with night life, then go for boracay
but for the sole purpose of enjoying nature's beauty, go to palawan.. i've been to busuanga before and i loved it!! water so clear, excellent for snorkeling. i heard el nido's a good place to go so you might wanna check it out

No doubt, it's Boracay. It has also a great night life especially during peak season (March to june).

boracay, the no#1 affordable , ,try bohol island , it is good place too, but if you have the money go to palawan , it is heaven or paradaise in the phil.

boracay is, indeed, magic. wonderful sand, a fantastic rock-outcropping, and nice atmosphere.
yet....i like panglao island better, in bohol. not as commercial.
