I'm an American living in Schopfheim, Germany?
And my husband and I are looking to meet people to hangout with... Is there anyone that lives near us. Schopfheim is in the far south-west. We've lived here for 10 months and we don't know anyone except his family. I can't speak or understand German at all. so i'm looking for other Americans. Please help!

hey, never heard of schopfheim, what bigger city is close to it? i live in the mainz/wiesbaden area. by the way, a lot of germans speak english ;)

i just looked your town up online, its in the southwestern corner close to france and switzwerland, right?

I would, but Bamberg is a bit out of your way. You might be reasonably close to Koln though, and that is a popular tourist spot that might let you hook up with an American or two. If you get a chance though, you should definitely visit Bamberg/Bayern as a whole, it's a lovely part of the country.
