A mate told me about a kind of 'pub crawl' you do in THailand where you float down a river all day and people hand you beers from the edge of the river every few hundred metres or something..? Does anybody know about this and where this is? thanks

I moved to New York State (Albany to be precise) last year, since then im kind of missing the west(i was in seattle for a long time, and denver). I have friends to be with and all so it has been fine, but somehow i feel like ppl were nicer, more laid back, and cities were more beautiful when i was in washington etc. can that be one of those EAST/WEST Differences or is it just me missing good old days for whatever reason. if anyone who has lived or been to both eastern and western side of this country im more than happy to hear.

My little sister's bachelorette party will be in mid-March 2007 and we are planning everything. We want to check out a strip club near Gilbert, since that's where the house is where we'll be staying that night. However I'll be with someone who knows the area...Scottsdale or Tempe are the best. We also want to rent a party van to avoid driving ourselves. Please, any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

Can someone help me MacGyver my way past the little black plastic cable protector on the back of a hotel television? I've tried to break it with a steak knife, a bottle opener, and by prying at it with some keys. It seems to be made of some sort of ultra strong plastic... possibly developed by the KGB... if anyone has any ideas of how to break it, It would be great... it would be even better if the answer included tools that I could find in my hotel room.

I think it would be very interesting if all Muslims boycotted all airlines.

Why is it that if I buy a trip on an airline, getting an actual paper ticket costs fifty dollars more? That's very suspicious.

Very random question. But if not, what other feline creatures are native to that area? I'm stumped.

I'm flying next week. And, I'm not checking in any luggage. I'm only taking my two carry-ons. The new regulations with liquids limits me to three one once containers in a zip lock baggie. Am I correct to assume that not all my make up will be considered liquids? Will my powders and eye shadows fall out of the liquid catagory?

We are going to Italy soon and bought our tickets through Travelocity. The return flight starts with a commuter flight from Rome to Amsterdam. We have an overnight layover in Amsterdam, but we aren't arriving in Amsterdam until 11:30p.m. We would prefer and earlier flight from Rome if we can get one. Does anybody know if airlines will consider that? If so how do we go about asking for it? Do we contact Travelocity, the airline directly, or do we just show up early to the airport and see if an earlier flight has openings?

I am from Eastern Canada, and I've met many people visiting Canada from the States and I can't believe that they are surprised that we don't live in igloos, have pet beavers, and that it snows all year round. Prince Edward Island, located in eastern Canada has beaches that are nationally ranked as some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. I'm not at all angry or anything about the stereotypes, I'm just curious anout why people believe them.

What are some fun, cool, or unique things or places in the Bay Area for 18-20 year olds?

I'm interested in just about everything such as nightlife, shopping, amusement type attractions, restauants, hiking, sports of any kind, and sightseeing/views.

I've lived in San Francisco for about half a year now, so I know all about the obvious areas. I'm looking for specific things/places that would be fun. Ex: specific nightclubs that allow 18+, specific sailing company, specific hiking trail in Muir Woods etc.

Thanks in advance!!!
