I'm flying next week. And, I'm not checking in any luggage. I'm only taking my two carry-ons. The new regulations with liquids limits me to three one once containers in a zip lock baggie. Am I correct to assume that not all my make up will be considered liquids? Will my powders and eye shadows fall out of the liquid catagory?

I would suggest that you visit the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ they have a complete list of what you can and can not bring on the aircraft with you. They also have a list of what they considered to be liquids and what needs to be packed in the clear plastic 1 qt. bag.

Have a great trip!

Powder is not a liquid and shouldn't be counted as such. I take mine on carry-on all the time without it being counted as liquid. Eye shadows could go either way; some of them are kind of damp or paste-like and could be counted as paste which has to go in the baggie. Eyeliner pencils are fine, liquid eyeliners and mascara go in the baggie.
