Well over the last couple weeks the Twins have delivered some pretty bad news...first they lost Torri Hunter who was one of the best Feilders i've ever seen! Then i think on Monday the news said that the Twins were losing Santana too which flat out SUCKS!!!!

Ok so i have some questions.

1)Are you mad about this situation?

2)What did we get from Torri Hunter leaving the Twins?

3)What will we get if Santana goes to the Yankees or wherever?

I'm reading Yankee fans posts stating he will be great to trade off. Am I the only one who sees he is going to be phenomenal in the near future? Even for Santana?

My pick is the Royals. They seem to be serious about making their team a contender again. While I'm not saying they going to the playoffs or clinch the Division i think they going to have a better record than anyone expects.

There is nothing that can rise more tension than the hatred of Red Sox and Yankees fans for each other. I know this question has probably been asked a million times. Pick a team who you prefer. You don't need to explain why. Even if you like neither team, pick one or the other. Red Sox or Yankees??

He's on the ballot again in a weak field. I grew up rooting for Jim Ed and my biased opinion is that he should. Am I just a homer or does he deserve the highest honor?

I just read this on the local Minneapolis newspaper website, startribune.com, "Twins close to landing Delmon Young
Wednesday, November 28th, 2007. The Twins and Tampa Bay Rays are close to finalizing a multi-player deal, according to several sources with knowledge of the discussions. The deal could be announced as soon as today. The main pieces changning teams would be outfielder Delmon Young and righthander Matt Garza. But indications were strong on Wednesday that as many as six players could be involved.
In addition to Garza, the Twins would send Tampa Bay shortstop Jason Bartlett and reliever Juan Rincon for Young, shortstop Brendan Harris and outfielder Jason Pridie. Pridie was with the Twins during spring training of 2006 as a Rule 5 pick. Young, 22, hit .288 last season with 13 homers and 93 RBI and is considered one of the better young hitters in the game. Harris, 27, hit .286 with 12 homers and 59 RBI."

As a Twin fan I'm glad to see Young coming over, we need his bat!

It's not like the Tampa Bay area isn't populated enough to support a larger market team. How do they justify building such a small park? Isn't this just dooming them to rebuilding the park in another 10 year?

Hughes and Kennedy
Cano/Cabrera

FOR

Santana

Thats insane.

Do you people not see that Santana has ONE year left in his contact?

WHY NOT SIGN HIM WHEN HIS CONTRACT IS UP INSTEAD OF TRADING AWAY THREE PROSPECTS!

Do you not see common sense in that?

Johan wants to be a Yankee. He wants to win : and he wants money. Talk to Johan about a contract next year and sign him then instead of losing prospects who MAY be good.

Why? Why are the Yankees condsidering trading for Sanatana for 2 or 3 prospects when they can just sign him at the end of next season? Is that major stupidity? They cant wait A YEAR?
