Thats a pretty hard decision to make for the dodgers.....
obviously they have quite a bit of young talent so the question is are they willing to part with some players in exchange for a big bat and a 3rd baseman in miguel cabrera.....i personally look at it in 2 ways......they wait for their younger players like Kemp,Martin,Billingsley,Laroche,Kershaw (and others) to develope into their full potential.....or trade some of them away to get major league ready talent
I think the Marlins are askin for too much from the dodgers even though its for MIguel Cabrera....
in the offseason they should sign cf aaron rowand or jones, get more pitching, and then find more bats

No they should keep them. I really don't like Cabrera and I think the Marlins are asking the Dodgers for a lot just to get him. I think they should get at least one more good pitcher, play the young guys and wait til next off season to sign a free agent big bat. There are better hitters on the next off season free agent list.

i think Ulytheus i would do the following for the Dodger Blue:

Trade:

-La Roche: He's very over-rated.
-Kemp: I'd hate to see him go but between Him and Loney i'd keep Loney.
-Ethier: Better than losing Loney (or if you lost Loney then you'd have to keep Kemp).
-And one more pitcher (not Chad Billingsley).

If they can keep their pitching: add Rowand and Cabrera without losing: Billingsley and keeping one of Kemp or Loney i'd do the deal.

i think the Marlins are crazy compared to what they are asking the Angels for.

GO Dodger Blue!

no, no, no, no, no!!!!!!!!!!!!
why gut the team for a fat guy. Matt kemp alone will have cabrera type numbers. If they trade the youngsters then the Dodgers would become Baltimore.

Nope, keep em all. I've watched these guys play in Spring Training, at Jacksonville, at Las Vegas and in LA. Keep them, don't trade for some old guy who swings a good bat - we already have Nomar.

i would take kemp off and add two less valuable prospects...
then yeah..i think Kemp can turn out to be really good...i would maybe take that choice because its perfect for yhe dodgers ..a power hitting 3rd baseman...and he is young..
GO DODGERS!
