If Barry Bonds has an asterik put on his record breaking baseball at Cooperstown then shouldn't they do the same thing to Mark McGwires' record breaking baseball also? Take into account that McGwire admitted to taking 'growth hormones' but only AFTER he had his spot in Cooperstown.

If only one of them can be a hall-of-famer, which one do you choose? Why? Thanks.

Barry Bonds stated, "You can't, you cannot give people the freedom, the right to alter history, you can't do it. There's no such thing as an asterisk in baseball."
He has gone further to say that we would refuse induction if this happens. "I won't go. I won't be part of it, I won't be there, you can call me but I won't be there."

How do you feel about this, should this be as big an issue as he is making it?

I cannot understand why in the world the sports writers and such are on a band wagon to rail this guy. Yes he maybe very difficult to approach and he has an attitude. Lets face it though for all those who want to deny his right to the hall without a stupid asterick. The man broke the record period. Nothing was ilegal at the time of him chasing the record. With other players in history having huge problems with alcahol and drugs and beating there wives no one looks at them. I think the writers and annoucers are hypocrytes

I'm writing an article about the 2007 Red Sox. I don't know what or how much I should include. I have many ideas about players, ingeries, trades, the post season and the management. I have even thought of adding top game highlights and Soxappeal.

Any ideas about what I should leave out, or definetly put?
Should I focus on the post season leaving out the bulk of it or I could just have all the highlights and list them?

How when a team wins the world series, tons of people who aren't fans always say the game was "rigged" or that they "bought the series"?

Like in 06, people said the world series was rigged because the Cards won. They played great & deserved their win!!

And this year, people are saying boston bought the world series. Did you not SEE how bad the Rockies were playing???

Why can't anyone just lose graciously? Does it make them feel better to put down the winning team?

What do you think about this?

McGwire all make the Hall as well? Barry having over 700 HR's, Sosa over 600 and Palmeiro and McGwire both over 500 HR's, as well as Palmeiro having over 3,000 hits, but all have been tied to STEROID usage. The way I look at this is, if you let one of them in, you have to open the flood gates and let these other 3 guys in. All have Hall worthy numbers, but their stats are definitely tainted from Balco, etc. So, what do you think about this?
